As you play and experience scenes in the game you unlock them in your gallery, and the gallery unlocks new costumes at different milestones. There’s all the important things you want to see in a character creator: Face settings colour settings hair choices costumes and breast size. You have a character creator to design your succubus, which can be changed every run you do. But… Last Evil is a rogue-like strategy card game. Why is so much effort put into the vehicle behind the sex? I can’t tell you.
There’s a story (It’s not important), boss battles of genuine strategic difficulty and careful risk and reward factors throughout. Runs can be completed pretty quickly, meaning you can in a short space of time dive through the game multiple times. This allows each run to be tailored to how you want the game to work, and there’s a huge variety of cards with which to build the best approach to the game. Instead, there’s various different strategies, multiple elements of resource management and the ability to improve your cards through the game. The deck building elements aren’t the basic half-arsed efforts I’d expect from an adult game. I have to be honest readers, the game has no right to be as fun as it is.
